Phoenix

From deep inside my Phoenix rises
Born of ashes to bring new prizes
From a simple smolder comes a new light
Catching aflame and burning so bright
Lifting me high, giving me power
Blossoming anew as a delicate flower
With wings of gold it lifts me higher
An elegant, beautiful, freedom flier
Soaring high above my world so new
High in skies so brilliantly blue
A world of possibility is all I can see
My phoenix has risen and set me free
